Within the framework of the university's licence agreements a number of software packages of notable manufacturers are available for research, teaching and studying.
Existing 'campus licences' allow the usage of certain software packages by all members of the university. 'Network licences' are also valid for all members of the university, although with a limit for the amount of simultaneous users on campus. Some licences are only available for certain groups of staff or for members of certain faculties.
Please note that software acquired via the Data Center may not be used on any privately owned devices, but only on devices owned by the university.
JGU's current license agreement for Adobe products ends on November 22, 2025. Due to significant price increases and low usage figures, the university will no longer be able to obtain a new campus license in the future.
