Indico is an open-source web application for managing events. It is used especially in universities and research institutions to plan, promote, and run conferences, workshops, lectures, meetings, and classes.
Indico lets you manage dates, rooms, and participant lists. Presentations, papers, and other documents can be easily uploaded, accessed, and archived permanently. The software supports multiple event types (Lecture, Meeting, Conference) and can be adapted to the needs of individual working groups through a permission system.
