JGU gives you a print and copy credit of €1,50 for each semester. If you want to print, copy or scan more than this, you must charge up your print and copy credit.
Charge up the Print Account with the Payment App
Prerequisite: You need the Studierendenwerk payment app
First transfer credit from the Studierendenwerk payment app to the ZDV print and copy account. We will explain how to do this:
- Make sure that you already have credit on your payment app.
- Tap on Add print credit at one of the service terminals.
- Hold the print and copy card up to the card reader.
- Enter the user name and password of your JGU account.
- An overview will show you the following:
App credit/card value: € 0,00*
Desired deposit: 0,00 €
Print and copy credit: € 0,00
ZDV bonus: €1,50
Total: 1,50 €
*0.00 € appears at first. The current amount is only displayed after the QR code scan.
6. With your payment app, scan the QR code of the card reader. Your app credit will be shown in the overview.
7. For the desired deposit, use the blue tiles with the corresponding amounts of money.
8.Then tap on book. The new total account balance is displayed.

6. use the blue tiles with the corresponding amounts of money to make the desired deposit.
7. then tap on book. The new total account balance is displayed and the amount is transferred to your print account.
8. if your Studicard does not have sufficient credit, you will receive a corresponding message.
9. log out and don't forget to take your card(s) with you!
Chargeback Money
You can transfer your deposited credit from your print account back to your Studicard (for example because you have finished your studies).
1. hold your card up to the blue and black card reader.
2. enter your PIN.
3. log in with your JGU account.
4. the account balance for the credit you have paid in yourself will then be displayed.
5. insert card or scan QR code.
6. select Ok. The full amount of the credit you have paid in yourself will be credited back to the card.
7. after a successful chargeback, you will receive a message
